Today is Holy Wednesday. The Gospels are silent on this day as Jesus spent the day with His Father. Some have called the day Spy Wednesday, since Judas was scheming his betrayal of Jesus. Whatever we know, we do know this: If Jesus scent time with His Father, we too should sense a need to do likewise.
Spending time with God should be a priority for the believer. We take our cue from Jesus. Luke 5:16 says – But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
