When you think about the holiness of God in a real deep meaningful way, isn’t it mind-boggling to even consider that He would have anything to do with us? A Perfect, sinless creator, loving an imperfect, sinful people like us. His holiness is how He loves us. Let me explain that. Because He is holy, he is able to project an unconditional love that only a holy God can give. That is why He is the One that initiates the love relationship with us. We aren’t able to do that because we are a conditional loving people. What I mean by that is this: We love others when they love us. We have a difficult time loving the unlovable. It is only when we surrender or abandon our preconceived understanding of God to a new way of understanding.
A Holy God loving you an unholy person. We are too feel undeserving of that love, because we are undeserving of it. That is called humility my friends. Humble yourselves and see of this Holy God of ours will open up your heart to become holy. We are to be holy because He is holy.
1 Peter 1:15-16—But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
Holy Is The Lord!
Today, people have all kinds of gods and idols. It is no wonder that the fastest growing group is called the “nones.” NONE. They believe in nothing. Let me introduce you to the great I AM! He is here and He is well aware of the situation of the “nones.” It isn’t anything new. He has be blasphemed and mocked for the entirety of the human race. It won’t affect His calling to those that will listen. Holy is the Lord!
