Are you Content?

Do you view a glass with half water as half empty of half full? This could be what value you place on your contentment in life. You see things in ways that reflect your heart.

A half-empty view of life many times is a negative or unhappy life. Life just exists to grumble or complain. Even when things are going relatively smooth, a discontented person can see the bad in any circumstance.

A half-full view of life has a positive spin on most situations. The person who lives life with a content attitude can view even bad circumstances as a way to make the best of the situation.

In Philippians 4:12-13, Paul says this: I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

This week as you live life’s circumstances, be content based on the Lord’s strength, and you to can view the glass as half-full.
