Veteran’s Day

Veterans Day

I want to honor all those military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. You really do make a difference in the lives of all Americans. You protect our freedom, our borders, and our liberty. Thank you for you commitment and for your service!

Jesus was the greatest example that we have of what a true servant of others looks like. He said in Matthew 20:26-28, 26 “Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

The American soldier is one of the closest models we have of a real live servant leader. You serve others for their benefit, and at the risk of your own well being much of the time. We can’t thank you enough. You are rare human beings in a world in desperate need of heros. Thanks for being our heros! May God smile on you today on Veteran’s Day.
